You are welcome

You Are Welcome is a durational performance that took place at g39 in Cardiff as part of Tu Fewn curated by Gail Howard. In this work Lakmaier sat on a wooden stage, wearing an 80-meter long red dress that stretched though the gallery and out into the care par, inviting people to walk on it like on a red carpet. As viewers came closes they saw the artist with a ream of paper on her lap, slowey and methodically folding paper airplanes and launching them into the gallery space, while wearing a brown paper bag on her head. At the time unknown to the artist, she was picked up by a man in a suit and was carried out of the building.
